
Cardio training can be incorporated into your personalized fitness plan during our workouts together or it can be done solely on your own, depending on your fitness goals. A personalized program will be designed for you which can include: walking, jogging/running, swimming, biking, jumping rope, interval training, and/or endurance training.
Research has proven how important a strength training routine is for overall health, well-being, and muscle tone. I will create a strength training fitness plan just for your body to maximize the results that you are looking for. Core training and balance training are also including in the strength training regime. I incorporate resistance bands, weights, Bosu, stability balls, balance boards, Body Bars, etc. into each workout in order to maximize results.
Nutrition is an integral part of your overall health and workout program. If your goal is weight loss or improved health, your food is an important component to consider. I hold an SCW Specialty Certificate in Sports Nutrition and I offer nutritional guidance to my clients. I DO NOT BELIEVE IN DIETS!!! Instead, I believe that it is important to eat healthfully MOST of the time and to allow yourself the treats that you like SOME of the time (it’s fine to eat a piece of pie every once in a while, just not the whole pie!). If you’re looking for a recommendation for the latest fad diet, you’ve come to the wrong place. I believe in healthy eating, eating what you like in moderation, and exercising for a healthy life. I look at the “big picture” of health and wellness. I want to help you find an eating and exercise style that will fit your life so it becomes something that is attainable and then sustainable for the rest of your life. I am not a registered dietitian, but as a fitness professional, I can recommend a healthy way of eating to you. If you would like a referral for a dietitian, I would be happy to give one to you.
